The IT Support – Data Analyst is responsible for monitoring critical system parameters, analyzing product performance metrics, and providing data-driven insights to support all functions within the Digital Technologies Department. This role underpins the work of Product Managers (Fine Issuance System, Motor Vehicle Registration, and others), IT Support personnel (field and control room), and related teams by ensuring reliable, accurate, and timely data analysis.

The position involves monitoring ITMS platforms, generating reports, estimating product loads, identifying operational risks, and alerting relevant teams about anomalies. By transforming complex data into actionable insights, the IT Support – Data Analyst ensures stability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of all digital technology products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. System Monitoring & Performance Analysis

  • Continuously monitor ITMS and other digital platforms for stability, uptime, and performance.
  • Track system utilization, transaction processing, and operational indicators to identify inefficiencies and risks.
  • Detect anomalies in real time and proactively alert relevant Product Managers and IT Support teams.

2. Cross-Departmental Data Support

  • Provide data analysis support to Product Managers, IT Support (field and control room), and other roles within the Digital Technologies Department.
  • Translate system metrics and performance data into clear insights that guide decision-making across product lifecycles.
  • Support operational alignment by tailoring reports to the needs of technical and non-technical stakeholders.

3. Data Collection & Analysis

  • Collect, clean, and analyze system logs, transaction records, error reports, and enforcement data.
  • Identify recurring issues, trends, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for system downtimes, anomalies, or performance bottlenecks.

4. Reporting & Visualization

  • Prepare and deliver regular reports on product and system performance, highlighting key metrics, trends, and risks.
  • Create dashboards and visualizations for management and stakeholders using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of monitoring processes and data analysis methodologies.

5. Incident Management & Risk Alerting

  • Identify potential threats, anomalies, or performance issues and notify appropriate teams within agreed SLAs.
  • Work with IT Support, Product Managers, and development teams to investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
  • Keep detailed logs of incidents, resolutions, and risk assessments.

6. Collaboration & Coordination

  • Act as a central liaison between the IT Support teams, Product Managers, infrastructure, and development teams.
  • Translate complex data into actionable recommendations for both technical and operational stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely communication of insights that support enforcement agencies, compliance teams, and management.

7. Process Improvement & Automation

  • Recommend enhancements to monitoring, reporting, and data analysis processes.
  • Support automation of alerts, data collection, and reporting to improve efficiency and reduce manual workload.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices in IT monitoring, analytics, and reporting.

8. Compliance & Security

  • Ensure adherence to company IT policies, data governance frameworks, and cybersecurity protocols.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive enforcement and operational data.
  • Ensure reports and analytics meet regulatory compliance standards.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • System uptime maintained at or above 98% through effective monitoring and timely escalation.
  • ≥ 95% of anomalies and risks detected and reported within 15 minutes.
  • ≥ 99% accuracy in generated reports and data analysis outputs.
  • Timely delivery of scheduled reports with ≥ 98% consistency.
  • ≥ 90% of identified system issues supported and resolved in collaboration with relevant teams within SLAs.
  • At least 2 major processes or automation improvements should be implemented annually.
  • 100% compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalents.
  • Strong knowledge of system monitoring tools, performance metrics, and network logs.
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure (servers, databases, networks) and basic troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of scripting/automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell) is an added advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to present technical data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Experience:

  • 2–3 years of experience in IT support, data analysis, or system monitoring roles.
  • Hands-on experience with ITMS, ERP systems, or large-scale digital platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to support multiple teams with tailored reporting and insights.
  • Proven experience conducting root cause analysis and supporting incident resolution.
